Gorham Savings Bank is giving away $30,000 to help fund the growth of a Maine business! One of the biggest barriers for entrepreneurs can be the lack of funding. LaunchPad not only celebrates great ideas but provides the resources to help bring these ideas to life.

Maine business owners, creators, inventors, and entrepreneurs can compete for $30,000 by submitting a viable business proposal via our website, launchpad.gorhamsavingsbank.com, beginning January 15th. An independent panel of judges will review all applications and select a group of semifinalists. Through a combination of community and panel votes, 5 finalists will be selected. These 5 finalists will pitch their idea at the live LaunchPad Competition on June 18th, where $30,000 will be awarded to the winner!

ENTRY PERIOD:

January 15, 2015 – March 1, 2015

HOW TO ENTER:

ELIGIBILITY:

Legally registered Maine based business, or legal residents of Maine, age 18 or older can apply. Past LaunchPad applicants and finalists are welcome to re-apply.

TIMELINE:

Entry Period: January 15 – March 1
Notification of Semifinalists: by April 10
Public Voting Period: April 20 – May 15
Notification of Finalists: by May 20
Live Competition at USM’s Abromson Center in Portland: June 18
