Gorham Savings Bank, a premier southern Maine community bank, has hired seasoned Commercial Lender Nicholas Weightman, CRC^®, to join its commercial lending team.

Weightman was recently Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at TD Bank. His experience ranges from tax-exempt financing, SBA, CRE and construction loans, to interest rate derivatives, acquisitions, and public company sales and leases.

Active in the Greater Portland community, Weightman serves as Vice Chair of Risk Management for Dream Factory of Maine. He has also served on committees with Kids with Claws, Maine Real Estate and Development Association (MEREDA), Portland Chamber of Commerce PROPEL and United Way.

He received a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He holds the Commercial Risk Certification (CRC®) from the Risk Management Association.

Weightman and his wife, Erica, live in Cumberland.
