GSB announced today the designation of Ali AL Dhamen, Information Security Officer, and Caitlin Ouellette, Senior Marketing Specialist, as Vice President.

AL Dhamen has a strong background in information security and has been instrumental in building the bank’s cybersecurity program. He oversees GSB’s information security and third-party risk management programs.

“Ali is a highly skilled and experienced information security professional,” said Steve deCastro, President and CEO of Gorham Savings Bank. “He is passionate about protecting our customers’ data and we’re fortunate to have his focus on such a crucial area for the bank.”

Ouellette has embraced an ever-expanding role in the bank’s marketing efforts, taking on a diverse range of projects, responsibilities, and initiatives–in addition to leading GSB’s LaunchPad small business competition.

“Caitlin is a talented organizer and a critical thinker with a deep understanding of our customers and our brand,” said deCastro. “She is also a natural collaborator who has built strong relationships with her team members, internal customers, and partners.”

“Both Ali and Caitlin are making significant contributions to our bank, and we’re pleased to be able to recognize them in this way,” deCastro continued.

AL Dhamen joined GSB in 2018 as a Risk Management Analyst and was promoted to his current role in April 2019. Ouellette joined the Bank as Marketing Specialist in 2015.
