SUBMISSION PERIOD
Submission Period will be specified in each giveaway Facebook and Instagram post as 10:00pm the next day.
OFFICIAL TERMS
No purchase is necessary to participate. The “Commenter” is defined as the person who leaves a comment on either a Facebook or Instagram giveaway post. The “Winner” is defined as the person who was randomly selected to win a prize. The “Prize” refers to the corresponding item or gift card to the local business specified in the post.
ELIGIBILITY
Individuals who comment on GSB’s Facebook or Instagram giveaway posts. Children under 18 are welcome to participate but must have the consent of a parent or guardian. Employees, officers, and directors of Gorham Savings Bank and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion or advertising agencies are not eligible. However, members of their immediate families are eligible to participate.
During the Submission Period, leave a comment on GSB’s Facebook or Instagram giveaway post that answers the question specified in the post. All eligible comments will automatically be entered into a drawing to win the applicable prize. The winning submission will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and announced the following business day after the submission period ends. All comments must be posted by the date and time specified on the post to be considered.
You may also enter by mail during the Submission Period by emailing your comment to Marketing@GorhamSavings.Bank or mailing a 3.5” x 5” blank index card with your first and last name, phone number, and email address printed on a single side to Gorham Savings Bank, Attn: Marketing Department, 1 India Street, Portland, ME 04101. All submissions become the property of Gorham Savings Bank and will not be acknowledged or returned.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
The “Winners” will be announced on Gorham Savings Bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages the following business day after the Submission Period has ended. If the “Winner” cannot be reached within 14 days, their prize will be forfeited and another “Winner” will be selected.
“Commenters” may be required to provide their age, address, city, state, zip code, social security number, and complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability, and Publicity Release upon receipt of their prize or else prize may be forfeited in its entirety.
Leaving a comment constitutes permission and a waiver to use, reproduce, display and publish the “Commenters” name, biographical information, image, photograph, voice and/or likeness by Gorham Savings Bank and its agents, successors, and assigns for any purpose and in any media whatsoever, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity, without review or further compensation to individual for purposes related to the program.
By participating (including without limitation claiming any prize), all participants acknowledge compliance with and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of Gorham Savings Bank, which are final and binding in all respects. Taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the “Commenters”.
Decisions about winners are final. “Winners” are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities associated with the acceptance of their prize, if applicable. Distribution of the prize will be coordinated upon notification of the “Winner”. “Winners” may be required to collect their prize at a GSB branch during normal business hours.
Revision of Terms & Conditions:
Gorham Savings Bank reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice.
