Gorham Savings Bank is now issuing contactless debit cards. When you receive your new GSB card, just look for the contactless symbol when paying for items, tap your card against the symbol on the payment terminal until the light turns green, and listen for a beep that confirms your payment was successful.

Contactless payments provide a touch-free payment option with the same level of security as an EMV chip card.

When you make a contactless payment, a one-time code is sent to the payment terminal. This one-time transaction code is a substitute for your actual card number and makes it harder for someone else to steal and use it.
