Maine Marathon 2021 Selfie Giveaway Terms & Conditions

SUBMISSION PERIOD

Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 7:45 AM EST – Monday, October 11, 2021 at 8:00 PM EST

OFFICIAL TERMS

No purchase is necessary to participate. The “Photo Submitter” is defined as the person who posts a photo submission on either Facebook or Instagram. The “Winner” is defined as the person whose photo was randomly selected to win a prize. The “Prize” refers to a free entry into the 2022 Maine Marathon.

ELIGIBILITY

Individuals who are registered for the 2021 Gorham Savings Bank Maine Marathon. Children under 18 are welcome to participate but must have the consent of a parent or guardian. Employees, officers, and directors of Gorham Savings Bank and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion or advertising agencies are not eligible. Race coordinator volunteers and directors of the Maine Marathon and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion or advertising agencies, are not eligible. However, members of their immediate families are eligible to participate.

During the Submission Period:

  1. Share a selfie or a photo of your own choosing using the Bank’s co-branded Maine Marathon Facebook or Instagram filters;
  2. Tag both the Gorham Savings Bank and Maine Marathon in your post on either Facebook or Instagram (make sure your profile or Facebook post is set to public); and
  3. Use the hashtag #mygsbmainemarathon.

All eligible posts will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a free entry into the 2022 race. The winning submission will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. All photo submissions must be posted by 8:00 PM EST on Monday, October 11, 2021 to be considered. By tagging the Gorham Savings Bank and Maine Marathon profiles in a photo submission, the “Photo Submitter” grants both organizations permission to share their photo for marketing purposes related to the Maine Marathon.

You may also enter by mail during the Submission Period by emailing your photo to Marketing@GorhamSavings.Bank or mailing a 3.5” x 5” blank index card with your first and last name, phone number, and email address printed on a single side to Gorham Savings Bank, Attn: Marketing Department, 1 India Street, Portland, ME 04101. All submissions become the property of Gorham Savings Bank and will not be acknowledged or returned.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

The “Winner” will be announced on Gorham Savings Bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. If the “Winner” cannot be reached within 14 days, their prize will be forfeited and another “Winner” will be selected.

“Photo Submitters” may be required to provide their age, address, city, state, zip code, social security number, and complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability, and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity Release upon receipt of their prize or else wish may be forfeited in its entirety.

Submitting a photo constitutes permission and a waiver to use, reproduce, display and publish the “Photo Submitter’s” name, biographical information, image, photograph, voice and/or likeness by Gorham Savings Bank and its agents, successors, and assigns for any purpose and in any media whatsoever, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity, without review or further compensation to individual for purposes related to the program.

By participating (including without limitation claiming any prize), all participants acknowledge compliance with and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the decisions of Gorham Savings Bank, which are final and binding in all respects. Taxes, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Photo Submitter(s).

Decisions about winners are final. “Winners” are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities associated with the acceptance of their prize. Distribution of the prize will be coordinated upon notification of the “Winner”. “Winners” may be required to collect their prize at a GSB branch during normal business hours.

Revision of Terms & Conditions:

Gorham Savings Bank reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice.
